  • Last year for #the100dayproject my project was #100daysofcreativeexploration and I did a bunch of these collages (among other things!) I’ve done the 100 day project 3 times now, and I’m trying to decide if I’m going to do it again this year. I know it always stretches me as an artist, but there are points in the process that also stress me out. What do you think?   • I haven’t painted with oils in years (I actually think it’s been a decade!) but I was watching all of the @creativebug classes with @erikaleesears and just felt inspired! I dug through my supplies and had almost everything I needed (minus the special sketchbook and burnt umber) so I ordered what I didn’t have from amazon and they showed up yesterday... so I started with this little sushi study and, like magic, I remember how much I LOVE oil painting. This took 15 minutes or so, so I just consider it a study. But after doing more of these studies in the class, I want to try some longer sessions! ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ P.S.
