When I started the Joyful Art Journaling January Challenge, I honestly didn’t know if anyone (besides myself!) would participate. But I’m grateful to say, people are participating and making amazing this! So I thought I’d share some of them with you. (And it’s not too late to get involved! Read how, here.)
Below are just a few of my favorites from the Joyful Art Journaling January Challenge so far:
This is @bethbaxterstudio’s spread for day 15’s prompt: yellow.
This lovely watercolor is @askarona_drawing’s submission for day 3 of the art journal challenge, new beginnings.
This spread for the day 21 prompt, “what is on your mind?” by @colorfulennui is funny and relatable! haha!
I like how @penandprosody went digital for the portrait prompt on day 16.
This fun and colorful abstract is by @clasmabreu for day 12 of the art journal challenge.
And of course I had to share one of my own spreads (at @joyfulartjournaling) for the day 7 prompt, blue.
As you can see, there are a wide variety of styles and techniques, which is one of the things I LOVE about art journaling! And with the Joyful Art Journaling January Challenge prompts, you can use your own style, tools and techniques to help fill up your own art journal! If you do, be sure to use #joyfulartjournalingjanuary — and check out what other people are making under that hashtag, #joyfulartjournalingjanuary, too!
If you have any questions about the art journal challenge, check out this post. And if you have more questions, feel free to contact me.
